Rebuilding Syria

In 2019, Slow Food and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) organized a study tour in northwest Italy for a group of Syrian small-scale women farmers. Eight years have passed since the start of the crisis in Syria. The two organizations have joined forces to develop the women’s skills, with the aim of helping them to relaunch and strengthen their businesses in their home country.
